Staying Healthy Requires Knowing Digestion Details!

Staying healthy begins when we trigger our digestion process by putting something into our mouth. If any of the following steps are compromised along the way we will not be staying healthy for very long.

It all starts with our enzymes, of which about half of what we need is produced in our Pancreas and the rest come from the raw foods we eat.   Our bodies have over 3000 different enzymes for digesting fats, protein and carbohydrates as well as for essential contributions to healing, elimination, energy production, transportation of fluids to your cells, elimination of toxins, metabolism, decrease inflammation, support our immune systems, combat stress, absorption and transportation of nutrients.   Enzymes are catalysts that speed up biochemical reactions that occur in each of our 100 trillion cells.  Enzymes are only activated in water, so drink at least one half your body weight in ounces every day. (140 lbs- drink 70 ounces of purified water each day)

Without enough enzymes it is impossible to continue staying healthy – we would not even stay alive.

The things that can cause your body to not have enough enzymes (or deactivate your enzymes) include a poor diet, eating too fast, not chewing enough, not drinking enough water, cooking foods at a high temperature, toxicity, and aging.

Staying Healthy With Fruits And VegetablesOnce your enzymes are inadequate for healing and digesting and you begin to experience incomplete digestion, partially digested food will accumulate in your intestines.  This food will become increasingly toxic and contribute to the lining of your intestines becoming thinner and you not staying healthy.  This thinning allows the partially digested food to pass through into your blood stream, where your immune system will attack it as something it can not use. Mild symptoms can include headaches, fatigue after eating, gastrointestinal discomfort, constipation, and create an environment conducive to disease.

Is it any wonder we must support our immune system to stay healthy.
